A Letter from the Century Monument
We are a second-generation company and we would be doing you a disservice if we didn’t mention the person responsible. Our father, Ted, is a retired Marine Sergeant, who served his country proudly. Later on, he became the superintendent of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. It was there that he decided to take the next step and start Century Monument from our house. Shortly after, he purchased property on Columbia Street, where we are still located to this very day. Our father donated to many youth organizations and schools over the years. He also provided monuments and markers to families in need when they experienced unforeseen tragedies. Unfortunately, he passed away in June 2019. Like so many families we deal with today, it was a great loss. We learned a lot from him over the years, but nothing more than the importance of what customer care should be like in our business. We want to assure you, that this will continue. Like you, We've lost someone we truly loved.

Enhanced Etching is a combined process of laser and hand etching that we have developed to ensure the absolute best detail and visibility for portrait etchings. Our supplier's hand etchers are top-of-the-line artists who create custom portraits and scenes. We have a library of high-quality designs. Each design has been selected for the absolute best imagery when etched on granite. You can also choose from photos of your own that have special meaning to you and your loved ones.
