A Letter from the Vice President
We are a second-generation company, and I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t mention the person responsible. My father, Ted, is a retired Marine Sergeant, having served his country proudly. Later on, he became the superintendent of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. It was there that he decided to take the next step and start Century Monument from our house. Shortly after, he purchased property on Columbia Street, where we are still located to this very day. Dad donated to many youth organizations and schools over the years. He also provided monuments and markers to families in need when they experienced unforeseen tragedies. Unfortunately, he passed away in June 2019. Like so many families I deal with today, it was a great loss. I learned a lot from him over the years, but nothing more than the importance of what customer care should be like in our business. I want to assure you that that will continue. Like you, I’ve lost someone I truly loved.

Our suppliers hand etchers are top-of-the-line artists who create custom portraits and scenes. We have a library of high-quality designs.
